Following nine (mostly) good seasons with the Nets and a year with the Lakers, Brook Lopez signed a team-friendly one-year, $3.38M deal with the Bucks this summer. Though the 2018-19 campaign is young, the veteran center is having a great season in Milwaukee so far. Through the team’s first 22 games, Lopez has averaged 11.6 points per contest for a dominant Bucks squad, and he’s on pace to topple his previous career high in three pointers. After Tuesday night, Lopez might have a new career high in another unlikely category: microwaves autographed.

The 11-year pro was signing autographs at a player appearance at Pick ‘n Save in Menomonee Falls on December 4. Apparently, a fan who goes by the Twitter handle Busterb12 wanted “Splash Mountain” to put his John Hancock on his household appliance. According to Buster, the big man obliged. We can’t speculate what the signature itself is worth, but if the microwave works and is in relatively good condition, we’d bet this unique piece of memorabilia could fetch upwards of $50 to $75 on the open market.

Lopez has been hot beyond the arc so far this season. Even if his newfound three-point stroke doesn’t last, he’s sure to keep heating up (foods at Buster B’s place) for years to come. Damn, this Bucks team is fun!
