The Argo Approved to Move Forward in Fox Bay Theater Revival

Team Announces Key Partnerships and Free Concert Series at Ivanhoe Plaza

[WHITEFISH BAY, WI, June 18, 2025] The Argo, a new entertainment hall, bar & kitchen, and event venue, has been officially approved to move forward with the revitalization of the historic Fox Bay Theater. Located in the heart of Whitefish Bay, just minutes from downtown Milwaukee, The Argo marks a significant cultural investment in the region, bringing new energy, connection, and programming to a space that has long been considered a local landmark.

“When the theater went dark in 2020, we challenged ourselves to find a way to not just bring the space back to life, but to make sure that what we do is the best outcome for the building and the Village of Whitefish Bay,” said Sheldon Oppermann, CFO and General Council of New Land Enterprises. “We couldn’t be happier about where the guys at The Argo are headed with this exciting reimagining of this important space.”
