Chillwaukee Lives on – Beloved Mobile Popsicle Company Bought by Milwaukee Couple

MILWAUKEE, WI – Popsicle flavors like Lavender Lemonade, Strawberry Mango, and Chocolate Sea Salt will continue into their seventh year as Chillwaukee switches ownership from founders Danielle Dahl and Collin Wallace to Sam and Alyssa Wisneski. Chillwaukee will be primarily managed by Alyssa Wisneski, a public school ESL teacher.

“Chillwaukee’s founders, Collin and Danielle, built an amazing company with a great following,” Sam Wisneski said. “They have been great to work with and will be consulting us as Chillwaukee moves into this exciting new chapter.”

The Wisneskis look forward to keeping a seamless experience for existing fans, while reaching even more people in the Milwaukee area and throughout the Midwest. The couple plans to reach a bigger audience through helping more businesses offer a great treat to their employees, catering more weddings throughout the area, and building on Chillwaukee’s retail offerings.

“From making our popsicles with fruit from local farms, to paying our local employees a great wage, to celebrating events with the community, we’re so excited that we are able to add to the community we love so much,” Alyssa Wisneski said.

The popsicles will continue to be made with high-quality ingredients, sourcing from local farms whenever possible. All popsicles will be vegan and gluten free. Popsicle lovers can continue to find Chillwaukee at weekly farmers markets, festivals, music series, and various public events throughout the city.

Sam and Alyssa Wisneski own Sweet Little Box Co, a Milwaukee-based online gifting and candle supply company. Now in its fourth year, Sweet Little Box Co has sold over 40,000 items, with corporate gifting clients including Wells Fargo, Stitch Fix, and Grubhub. While Sweet Little Box Co is close to their hearts, the Wisneskis crave the community connection that Chillwaukee offers.

“We love our Milwaukee community and we can’t wait to add to it when our four popsicle carts are at all types of events this spring,” Sam Wisneski said.
