Every Wednesday at noon, Ryan Schleicher, Evan Rytlewski, and Matt Wild take to the WMSE airwaves to discuss all things Milwaukee. This half-hour fun-fest is called The Disclaimer, so named because none of the oft-ridiculous views expressed on the show necessarily reflect the views of the hosts’ employers. Milwaukee music, Milwaukee art, Milwaukee events, and D.I.Y. lawn care tips are frequently discussed—and rarely agreed upon. The Disclaimer: Talk radio for the sane.

Summerfest 2016 is in the books. So how did the Big Gig do this year? Ryan, Evan, and Matt run down some pertinent Summerfest numbers, including overall attendance (a solid 804,116) and the number of swings taken at that hole-in-one golf thing no one ever seems to win (19,977). Next up, the gents discuss the unlikely return of Rock The Green, a “sustainability festival” scheduled to end a three-year hiatus September 17 at the Reed Street Yards. Does the eco-friendly fest finally have the right mix of green outreach and good music? Is it still working from a throwback model of pairing local talent with national headliners? And, more importantly, does anyone but the three people in the room still talk about the time Sponge played Summer Soulstice?
