Every Wednesday at noon, Ryan Schleicher, Evan Rytlewski, and Matt Wild take to the WMSE airwaves to discuss all things Milwaukee. This half-hour fun-fest is called The Disclaimer, so named because none of the oft-ridiculous views expressed on the show necessarily reflect the views of the hosts’ employers. Milwaukee music, Milwaukee art, Milwaukee events, and D.I.Y. lawn care tips are frequently discussed—and rarely agreed upon. The Disclaimer: Talk radio for the sane.

Earlier this week, the upcoming Ariana Grande show at Fiserv Forum was rescheduled from April 15 to July 5. No big deal, right? WRONG. July 5 happens to fall during Summerfest, which means…well, not much, really. With Ryan out of town, Evan and Matt talk about the competing shows anyway. Will Summerfest see a dip in attendance that day? Maybe. Has the Fiserv already taken shows away from Summerfest? According to Summerfest, yes. Will everyone somehow survive? Of course. Following idle chit-chat about other upcoming Milwaukee shows, Matt delves into a terrific piece by Mary Louise Schumacher about the Marcus Center’s plans to tear out an iconic grove of chestnut trees. Summerfest and trees. It wouldn’t be a Disclaimer without them.
