Summerfest has been doing the whole “announce headlining acts more than six months in advance” thing lately, so why not the Wisconsin State Fair?
Yep! Longtime country superstar (and Hootie & The Blowfish frontman) Darius Rucker will play the State Fair’s Main Stage on Friday, August 8, 2025. Tickets range from $65 to $85, and go on sale Friday, November 22 at 10 a.m. Get them HERE. Rucker will be joined by an as-yet-unannounced “special guest.”
And oh yeah, the State Fair’s Main Stage has a new name! It’s now the Bank Five Nine Main Stage, thanks to a sponsorship from, well, Bank Five Nine. Expect further State Fair/Bank Five Nine Main Stage announcements like maybe Salt-N-Pepa, maybe Casting Crowns, and definitely that “Happy Together” ’60s revue with one of the guys from The Turtles soon.
The 2025 Wisconsin State Fair is set for July 31 – August 10. The 2024 Fair set a new attendance record of 1,136,805. Also, our State Fair correspondent, Dana Ehrmann, totally survived the Ejection Seat.
