If you live in the metro Milwaukee area, you’re likely familiar with Mike Crivello’s Camera & Imaging Center, Brookfield’s one-stop photography shop since 1969. And if you’re familiar with Mike Crivello’s—and/or you follow Dan Harmon and Rob Schrab on social media—you’re likely familiar with the store’s delightfully weird, strangely verbose, and undeniably catchy jingle. Here it is in a karaoke-friendly video. Just follow the bouncing camera!

It’s so…beautiful. So pure. So full of that “extra something” (a.k.a. service and quality). The world is indeed warm and friendly thanks to this little ditty.

The jingle has been getting a lot of play in recent years thanks to Community and Rick And Morty creator Dan Harmon, and Scud creator Rob Schrab. Here are the former Milwaukeeans performing the song to a group of delighted friends on New Year’s Day 2018:

Mike Crivello’s is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2019, and is asking folks to share their own performances of the jingle. (Indie rocker Mitski covered it at a recent show at The Back Room @ Colectivo.) Schrab, meanwhile, recently co-directed the second season of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 reboot, and is set to direct an installment of the Creepshow reboot for Shudder. (He’s also originally from Mayville, Wisconsin, hometown of Milwaukee Record‘s own Matt Wild, and hometown of Mike Crivello’s employee Troy Freund, who created Milwaukee Record‘s very first publicity shot back in 2014. Small world!)
