It’s been quite a year for Fuzzysurf. Following a self-imposed two-year hiatus, the accomplished Milwaukee indie rock outfit released its sprawling and genre-hopping Chameleons double LP (one of our favorite local releases of 2025) back in January. Since then, they’ve released some exceptional music videos (including our favorite Fuzzysurf video yet), logged an acoustic Local/Live session, and returned to the stage to play sporadic shows in and around Milwaukee.
Last week, the band put a bow on what could be considered its most productive and all-around best year to date by releasing a brand new video for “Cheer Up Snowflake (It’s Christmastime).” Shot by Franki Ludwig, who also filmed Fuzzysurf’s one-shot “I Don’t Wanna Be Nothing Anymore” video this year, the new visual pairing to the band’s 2022 holiday single finds the quartet donning holiday sweaters, basked in glow of string lights, surrounded by presents, and situated beside a decorated Christmas tree as they perform the certified power pop banger that’s reminiscent of a Midwest version of Weezer with a yuletide twist.
Get in the holiday spirit and check out the video of “Cheer Up Snowflake (It’s Christmastime)” below.
