Does Milwaukee need another spring/summer concert series? Probably not. Are we always pumped when another recurring music series can be added to our extensive and ever-growing list of festival season happenings? Hell yes, we are! Add in the availability of award-winning beer and delicious cheese curds on a riverfront patio where local artists will perform free concerts, and we’re even more excited.

If that also sounds good to you, you’re in luck because Lakefront Brewery just announced a brand new series that offers all of that. The brewery’s “Current Sounds” is a so-called “intimate concert series” that will bring a vast and varied list of respected local musicians to Lakefront’s sprawling and gorgeous Milwaukee River-adjacent patio Fridays from 3-5 p.m., Saturdays from 2-4 p.m., and two Sunday performances that will take place the weekends of Memorial Day and Labor Day.
