Every fall since 2023, Milwaukee Record has hosted an event that simultaneously celebrates a beloved Midwest meal standby and raises funds for a great local organization. Our annual “Casserole Call” features area restaurants (as well as bars, cafes, grocery stores, breweries, hot sauce companies, bakeries, and meal delivery services) gathering on a Sunday afternoon to serve up their best renditions of casserole. It’s fun, it’s filling, and it supports our friends and Kinship Community Food Center.
We’re planning to host the third annual Casserole Call at Falcon Hall in Riverwest on Sunday, November 9. However, we need a little help to make sure that happens. Specifically, we need more vendors to sign up to be part of the event or else—to be fully transparent with you—we’re going to have to cancel the event in 2025 (and probably forever) due to lack of vendors.

So if you’re a local business in the realm of food service and you’re interested in potentially being a part of this fall’s Casserole Call, please reach out to us this week. We’ll provide the table, utensils, napkins, and sample containers. We’ll even give you some free ad space as a token of our appreciation! You just need to make enough casserole for those in attendance and staff your booth for the duration of the event (12-3 p.m.).
You can email me at [email protected] to get more information and/or express your interested in participating. We’ve officially issued a Casserole Call to potential vendors to help make this Sunday, November 9 fundraiser possible. Will you answer?
