Following successful installments in 2019, 2021, and 2023, Turner Hall Tiki Takedown will once again be bringing warm vibes and cool cocktails back to the eponymous downtown ballroom this April. Yes, you can take your taste buds on a mid-spring trip to the islands when the cocktail competition and rum-fueled celebration officially returns on Sunday, April 28.

From 1-4 p.m., Turner Hall will host mixologists from a variety of local bars and restaurants, each of whom will be serving up their own unique tiki cocktail creations using TIKI LOVERS spirits as they compete for votes from those in attendance so they might claim the coveted Tiki Takedown Trophy and Tiki Master title. Confirmed participating businesses include:

Blue Bat Kitchen & Tequilaria
Matt Hungerford – Capitol-Husting Company, Inc.
Natty Oaks Pub & Eatery
Shanghai Speakeasy
Station No. 06
The Original
The Outsider
Union House

In addition to the delicious drinks on hand, this event will feature live DJ sets by DJ E.Rich. Guests will also be able to purchase pizza from Ian’s Pizza. Milwaukee Record—the proud media sponsor of Turner Hall Tiki Takedown—will also be on-site to help emcee the event.

Ticket types include general admission (which includes a sample from each participating business), Designated Driver and a limited number of VIP tickets. DD tickets are only $5 and include both entry and one complimentary non-alcoholic beverage. VIP tickets include early entry for head start sampling, free pizza from Ian’s Pizza, and a commemorative cup. All tickets are on sale now and all ticketholders must be 21+ to attend.

We’ll see you at Turner Hall for the fourth Tiki Takedown installment on Sunday, April 28!
