After having an abbreviated 2020 season on account of the pandemic, last year was South Shore Terrace‘s first full season back in business. The beer garden, which is stationed at South Shore Park in Bay View, made the most of it by starting its traditional season in April of 2021 and running it into November (then back shifting to Winter Chalet service). This year looks to offer visitors even more time to enjoy food and refreshments outside, as South Shore Terrace plans to open later this week.

Today, Milwaukee County Parks—which operates the beloved beer garden—announced South Shore Terrace’s 2022 season will kick off on Thursday, March 17. The opening day (which is technically one of winter’s final days) hours will be 4-7 p.m. After that, spring hours will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 12-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. South Shore Terrace will be closed Monday through Wednesday.

If you want to enjoy a “brew with a view” and support the Milwaukee County Parks System in the process, you can stop by South Shore Terrace as soon as this Thursday. Cheers, Milwaukee!
