Another loss for Milwaukee’s East Side: After just under three years in business, Milwaukee cidery Pomona Cider Co. will close its doors at 2163 N. Farwell Ave. on December 27. The business made the announcement Saturday on social media.

“With broken hearts we are announcing Pomona Cider Company will be closing at the end of the year,” the announcement begins. It continues:


Pomona opened in March 2023. Its remaining hours and events are as follows:


The impending Pomona closure follows news that East Side staple Beans & Barley will close on January 31, 2026. Another East Side business, vegan restaurant Strange Town, recently put out a call for help.
