Though people have vastly differing opinions when it comes to going out to bars on St. Patrick’s Day, the right theme can bring even the least festive among us out for the polarizing spring holiday. And if you’re a fan of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Lost Whale has just the St. Patrick’s Day pop-up for you.
Starting Thursday, March 17 and running through Sunday, March 20, the Bay View cocktail bar will be “morphing into everyone’s favorite Philadelphia Sh*tHole, Paddy’s Pub!” Lost Whale will pay tribute to It’s Always Sunny by offering Paddy’s-approved beverages affiliated with the long-running comedy series. Some offerings include: Sangria served in Diet Coke cans, boozy Shamrock Shakes, Lost Whale’s take on Fight Milk, a Signature Black Hole, Riot Punch, and other Sunny-themed drinks and activities to be announced.
If this Paddy’s Pub pop-up is even half as good as it sounds, Lost Whale’s profits will soar high as a crow this month. Check the bar’s Facebook event for more info and updates as March 17 approaches.
