We have some terrible news for fans of high quality Milwaukee-made meats sold at bargain basement prices. Klement’s will be permanently closing its Factory Outlet Store (2650 S. Chase Ave., 414-744-2330 Ext. 261) this month. The sausage company announced the tragic news on Facebook this week:

“Klement’s Outlet Store will be permanently closing on Thursday, April 27th, 2023. Due to manufacturing demands and the need for more space for our growing business, we have decided to use this space to meet these demands. We thank all of our loyal consumers for countless years of continued support! Klement’s products are available at many local retailers. Use our store locator to find a store nearest you!”

For many years, value-conscious carnivores in the know frequented the small, semi-secluded, and character-laden store that’s absolutely unlike any other meat market in Milwaukee.

While it’s not exactly easy to find or stylish in any way, the Factory Outlet Store is the protein promised land, where everyone is a VIP.

While its square footage is limited, its inventory isn’t lacking in the slightest.

And boy is it ever cheap!

So very, very cheap.

Though the end of the Klement’s Factory Outlet Store is nigh, thrifty shoppers still have almost two weeks left to stock up on extremely affordable sausages from a meaty Milwaukee mainstay. Store hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

You’d be hard-pressed to find a better—or, frankly, a weirder—place to load up on meat straight from the source. Farewell, Klement’s Factory Outlet. We’ll always love you.
