In recent years, the Walker’s Point neighborhood has been a hot destination for new bars, restaurants, breweries, venues, retail shops, unnecessary upscale apartments, headquarters for local publications, and more. Today, we noticed new signage that indicates a gourmet popcorn store will also be coming to the neighborhood as well.

Yes, it looks as if a local purveyor called Miller Gourmet Popcorn will be opening a retail location at 321 W. National Ave., in a site formerly occupied by an apothecary called Tippecanoe Herbs. The building’s exterior is also the site of the (now-finished) mural of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Christian Yelich.

Miller Gourmet Popcorn is owned and operated by Martin L. Miller, who specializes in making “popcorn that’s popping with flavor.” According to signage placed in the property’s window, Miller’s selection includes a total of 10 popcorn and cheese puff varieties, ranging between $5 and $7 in price. Stay tuned for more information on this as more information becomes available. In the meantime, get ready for some buttery, cheesy, caramel-covered, and “blazin hot” popcorn in Walker’s Point in the near future.
