Last fall, we were given the opportunity to have an early glimpse (and take an early taste) of Milwaukee proper’s first Dave’s Hot Chicken. With Dave’s being one of the fastest-growing chains in the country and figuring most Milwaukeeans hadn’t yet experienced it, we gladly took Roaring Fork Restaurant Group on the invite. This afternoon, we took the very same restaurant group up on its invitation to try its 56th Qdoba location in Wisconsin (and 59th location overall) because it was kind of on the way back from our meeting with our accountant and, well, Qdoba is awesome.

Located at 6245 S. 27th Street—mere feet beyond Milwaukee’s border on the corner of 27th and College—in nearby Greenfield, this newly-built Qdoba shares a parking lot with a shopping plaza that has a George Webb and a Cousins in it. The “Mexican Eats” will be a nice addition to the area. We can say that confidently because during today’s preview day, we experienced great service, and enjoyed a wonderful Grilled Adobo Chicken burrito (along with a fountain Diet Coke, with a little regular Coke mixed in for a little extra flavor) in a spotless dining area.

This particular Qdoba location opens to the public on Tuesday, March 14. As you wait to try it for yourself, check out these 20 photos from the soon-to-open Greenfield Qdoba.
