Joey, do you like endlessly quotable and ridiculously absurd movies from 1980 that feature Julie Hagerty, Robert Hays, Lloyd Bridges, Leslie Nielsen, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar? (“Tell your old man to drag Walton and Lanier up and down the court for 48 minutes!”) What about movies that check all of the above boxes and are written and directed by Milwaukee natives David and Jerry Zucker? Oh, and do you like screenings of said movies that come complete with Q&As?

If you answered YES to these questions, you’ll surely want to check out a special screening of comedy classic Airplane!, Saturday, May 16 at The Pabst Theater. Stars Julie Hagerty and Robert Hays will be in attendance for a post-screening discussion and Q&A, where they’ll “share behind-the-scenes stories, insights, and personal memories from working on this genre-defining comedy masterpiece.” Assuming, a press release explains, that they don’t have the fish for dinner.

The event is part of the Airplane Live Tour. Reserved-seating tickets to the Milwaukee show go on sale Friday, January 16 at 10 a.m. A limited number of VIP meet-and-greet tickets are available, too.
