Now that Thanksgiving is behind us and the city is currently covered in snow, it’s safe to say it: the holidays are right around the corner. Along with their approach also comes another annual seasonal tradition. Neighborhood Theater Group—which consists of Avalon Theater, Rosebud Cinema, and Times Cinema—will once again screen a wide variety of Christmas and Christmas-adjacent films for its “Ho Ho Holiday Movie Bash” series.
The fun will kick off Friday, December 5 with a trio of tangentially holiday-ish flicks and will wrap up with December 24 screenings of It’s A Wonderful Life at all three theater locations. Two of the screenings—December 13 showings of The Christmas Chronicles and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever—double as $15 “Santa’s Silver Screen Celebration” screenings that include the movie, food/drink pairings, and a visit from Santa himself.
