Strange but true: the 2026 Wisconsin State Fair is already in the rearview mirror. Huh! Where does the time go? The 175th installment of the Fair ran from August 6-16. There were Sporkies and Drinkies. There were awful T-shirts. The was the annual Large Police Presence. And there was Bert Lauderdale.
Yes, Milwaukee’s beloved weather enthusiast and general man-about-town checked out the 2026 Fair and filed the following #BertAlert. It may not be as apocalyptic as his his report from last year’s Fair/flood (thank god), but it’s still a stellar piece of work. Oh, and it features a cameo from Milwaukee Record’s My Fair Lady, Dana Ehrmann! Enjoy!
