Now that Summerfest, the Harley weekend, Bastille Days, and Brady Street Festival have all come and gone, Milwaukeeans can now shift focus to the numerous festivals, block parties, and other civic celebrations that are still to come before summer’s cruel conclusion. Included on that lengthy list of upcoming events is Puerto Rican Festival Of Wisconsin.
After previous installments at Humboldt Park, Wilson Park, Jackson Park, and Veterans Park, the state’s largest celebration of Puerto Rican culture will relocate once again—this time to Henry Maier Festival Park. Yes, the 12th annual Puerto Rican Festival Of Wisconsin will come to the north end of the Summerfest grounds on Sunday, September 21. That’s the last day of summer, for those of you who are keeping track.
There will be plenty of room to celebrate all things Puerto Rican in a wide variety of ways. Just some of the things attendees can expect to experience at the family-friendly event include dancing, food and drinks, live entertainment, a kid’s zone, DJs, more than 90 retail vendors, and much more. Speaking of the live entertainment part, here’s the lineup:
