And then there were 16! What started as a field of 64 worthy Wisconsin locales has been reduced to a quarter of its original size. Round 2 featured a few landslides by favored places, some extremely close calls, a shocking number of upsets, and the continued dominance of Rhinelander. Over the course of the tournament’s first two rounds, more than 50,000 total votes were cast. Now it’s time to trim the 16 remaining Wisconsin cities down to only eight.

As was the case last round, competitors have been separated into the following regions: Northwest, Southwest, Northeast, and Southeast. Round 3 started March 15 and runs through March 21. Subsequent rounds will take place March 22-26, March 27-29, and the Finals will run from March 30 through 11:59 p.m. on March 31. Vote early and vote as many times as you’d like.
