Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we—with generous sponsorship from Skilos, A Family Pet Store—plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: a beautiful sweetheart called Sunny.

Meet Sunny! This beautiful sweetheart is the definition of affectionate. She’s loving and gentle—regularly showcasing her signature chirps to let you know how happy she is. Sunny is a connoisseur of the cozy life. She loves lounging in front of her “cat TV” (a good window with plenty to watch), stretching out in a sunbeam, or perching high on her cat tree to observe her little world. Add in a few kitty snacks and some head scritches, and you’ll hear that chirpy contentment.

She has striking tabby markings and an outgoing, sweet nature that makes her easy to fall for. When it’s playtime, wand toys are her absolute favorite, but she’s just as happy to curl up close when the fun is over. Sunny is looking for a home filled with love, snuggles, and warm spots to nap. In return, she’ll bring light, love, and endless sunny vibes into your world.
