Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we—with generous sponsorship from Skilos, A Family Pet Store—plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: Runt, a little lady with a personality that’s larger than life.

Meet Runt! She may be the smallest of her litter, but her personality is larger than life. She is already a pro at window watching, shadowing her feline friends, and soaking up all the affection she can get. She loves attention, loves other cats (she’ll happily be their little shadow), and will melt into your hands once she’s scooped up.

Runt is adventurous, great at asking for help when she needs it, and has the most beautiful eyes that you’ll often catch staring up at you when she’s asking for a snack. Because she thrives on companionship, Runt is looking for a home with another cat. Or maybe you’ll be the hero who adopts her with her sibling, Vader, for double the fun.
