Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we—with generous sponsorship from Skilos, A Family Pet Store—plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: Clover, a friendly little guy with “resting grump face.”
Meet Clover, a cat with a face that says “I’ve seen things” and a heart that says “please pet me.” His cow spots are cute, his meow is delightfully chatty, and he has a rather serious case of resting grump face. He had a rough start at the shelter and was separated from his brother, which left him a little unsure about the world. But once he landed in his foster home and realized he was safe, his true personality came out.

Under that serious expression lives a playful, affectionate sweetheart who adores wand toys, puff balls, and curling up for cozy snuggles. Clover can be a bit timid at first and may need a patient, calm home to help him feel secure. Once he knows you’re his friend, he’ll reward you with head bumps, purrs, and plenty of cuddles.
He’s a social guy who really enjoys the company of other cats, so a home with friendly feline companions would be a great fit. With his sweet nature and gentle spirit, Clover is ready to find a family that will give him the love, patience, and the peaceful environment he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, Clover may be your cat.
