Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition to help find loving homes for area cats. Meet Chester, a kitten who has already mastered the art of pretending he doesn’t hear you. He’s a little shy at first, but wave a wand toy or crack open a Churu treat and suddenly you’re best friends.

Lap cat? Not quite. Right now, he’s more into sibling smackdowns and climbing furniture. What Chester really needs is a partner in crime—feline preferred—to keep him occupied so he doesn’t invent new ways to redecorate your curtains.
