Each week, we—with generous sponsorship from Skilos, A Family Pet Store—plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: a playful and sweet tuxedo boy called Calf.
Calf is a sweet and affectionate boy who has quickly learned that indoor life is pretty great! He loves pets and will happily give you head bumps to let you know he’s ready for some attention. As soon as the morning alarm goes off, Calf is ready to come say hello and get his morning pets.
He loves playing with wand toys, using his scratchers, and will never turn down a Churu treat. When he’s not playing, he’s perfectly content cuddling up next to you or simply lounging nearby and keeping his person company. When Calf gets excited and wants to play, he may occasionally give a gentle little nip to get your attention. He’s still learning his indoor manners and redirects well to his favorite wand toys.
Calf can be shy in a new environment and may need a little time and a safe space to settle in. Once he feels comfortable, though, his sweet and social personality really comes out. This little guy is ready to leave his wandering days behind and find the one thing he’s been waiting for all along: a family to call his own.
