Milwaukee—the City Of Festivals, in case you forgot—is home to all types of summertime celebrations. Beyond the massive music festivals, we’re known to celebrate neighborhoods, motorcycles, LGBTQ+ rights, local professional wrestlers, a wide variety of different cultures, anniversaries of bars and breweries, the general concept of weirdness, and pretty much everything in between. Hell, we even have a festival that’s specifically related to plants.
Yep! Milwaukee Plant Party will take root on Sunday, August 13 at Bad Moon Saloon (4035 S. Clement Ave.) and will offer six hours worth of plant-based shopping from 12-6 p.m. Billed as “Wisconsin’s Biggest Plant Event,” the Milwaukee Plant Party will feature more than 20 local vendors, including area plant stores, collectors, potters, propagators, and even some artists and makers thrown in for good measure.
