Here are two completely innocuous news items about The Hop, and even though they’re completely innocuous they’ll likely get everyone worked up anyway:
1. Milwaukee’s streetcar service, The Hop, will suspend service at 9 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday nights. The reason? “To accommodate overnight repairs to the damaged overhead wires caused by last month’s non-streetcar-related accident along the route,” says The Hop. “Service will resume each morning at 5 a.m. with regular service during the day as usual.” (The 9 p.m. service cut-off began Tuesday night.)

2. The Hop recently redesigned its website. Here’s a look at the new ridership page:
