Riverwest Radio Ghost Walk Returns for Third Year with New Audio Stories and Weekly “Spooky Talk” Radio Show
Self-Guided Tour Runs Friday, October 2 – Sunday, November 1, 2026
MILWAUKEE, WI — The Riverwest Radio Ghost Walk is back for its third year, inviting Milwaukeeans and visitors alike to explore the haunted history and hidden lore of the Riverwest neighborhood. This self-guided walking tour features 20 short ghost stories, each paired with a themed decoration installed at its corresponding location, creating an immersive, spooky walk through the streets of Riverwest.
Participants can pick up their own tour book starting October 2nd— complete with a map to all 20 story locations — for $10 at any of the following Riverwest-area locations:
• Bliffert Lumber (1014 E Chambers St.)
• Riverwest Radio ( 824 E Center St.)
• Riverwest Farmers Market (2700 N Pierce St.)
• Outpost Natural Foods (100 E Capitol Dr)
• Nessun Dorma (2778 N Weil St)
Because the tour is entirely self-guided, participants can complete it on their own schedule any day or evening(s) between Friday, October 2 and Sunday, November 1, 2026.
New this year, for the first time, many of the 20 ghost stories will be recorded and made available to listen to, giving tour-goers the option to hear each tale narrated (many by the authors) aloud as they walk the neighborhood.
The event also brings back the popular Ghost Walk Spooky Talk Radio Show, airing live on Riverwest Radio 104.1 FM every Friday at 6:30 PM, starting September 18, 2026.
Limited-edition Ghost Walk merchandise will once again be available for purchase at Riverwest Radio headquarters (824 E Center St) while supplies last.
