One Year After Acquisition, Milwaukee Brewing Company Celebrates Growth, New Product Introductions
Fresh off the heels of a brand refresh, MKE Brewing introduces new, beers and spirits
MUSKEGO, Wisc., (Sept. 21, 2023) – As the one year anniversary of Milwaukee Brewing Company’s acquisition by Eagle Park Brewing Company approaches, the beloved craft brewery has introduced a complete brand and packaging refresh, as well as several new products that are quickly earning fan-favorite status.
Over the past several months, changes to the packaging of MKE Brewing beers have been seen on store shelves, as the company slowly introduced its modernized and refreshed look. Changes include a new logo for the MKE brand and updated packaging for some of the brewery’s most heralded beers such as Louie’s Demise, O-Gii Imperial Wit, and MKE IPA. The rebrand was designed by Milwaukee-based creative studio BearBear, who are also behind the Eagle Park branding.
“We wanted to approach this changeover with the same thoughtfulness and care as when we brew our beer” said Jake Schinker, Co-Owner of Eagle Park Brewing. “We think the finished look is reflective of where Milwaukee Brewing is headed and are thrilled with how it has turned out.”
In addition to new branding and packaging, MKE Brewing has introduced several new offerings to its product lineup. 19th Tea, a refreshing blend of hard tea and lemonade which was introduced this summer, has quickly become a fan favorite and is now a part of MKE’s year-round lineup. New for this fall is Pinsetter, a dark lager, which will hit store shelves in mid-October. This summer, MKE also introduced Milwaukee Distilling Company, featuring an all-new line of spirits including vodka and flavored brandies.
With a reputation for creativity and innovation, Eagle Park acquired MKE Brewing in September 2022, ensuring the future of Milwaukee’s third-oldest craft brewery. Eagle Park is actively working on a new permanent taproom location for MKE with hopes of having it open by late 2024.
