Northwestern Mutual Community Park Now Open for the Season
WHAT:
Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. and Northwestern Mutual, through its Foundation, announced today that the Northwestern Mutual Community Park, located inside the 75-acre Henry Maier Festival Park is now open for the season.
Sunday Family Fun Days will also return to the Northwestern Mutual Community Park on June 18, July 16, August 6, and September 17, 2023 – more information and programming will be forthcoming.
The Northwestern Mutual Community Park offers inclusive and accessible play for children ages 2 to 12 years of age, including those who may experience a variety of challenges. It is one of Wisconsin’s most accessible urban parks and has become a destination for families since it opened in 2021.
The Northwestern Mutual Community Park will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.. It will also be open to attendees of special events throughout the festival season including Summerfest, ethnic and cultural festivals, and more.
Days and times of operation are subject to the event calendar – please visit MilwaukeeWorldFestival.com to view the current schedule. Free parking is available in Lot G, which is located south of the Henry Maier Festival Park Mid-Gate, as well as designated bike parking. No pets are allowed.
