BREWERS TO OPEN GATES TWO HOURS PRIOR TO FIRST PITCH ON SATURDAY HOME GAMES FOR 2023 SEASON

Change Implemented to Allow Fans Additional Time on Major Promotional Giveaway Dates

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers announced today that gates will open two hours before the first pitch every Saturday home game, starting Saturday, April 22 when the Brewers take on the Boston Red Sox at 6:10 p.m.

Prior to the change, gates opened 90 minutes before first pitch for all home games. The earlier gate opening will allow fans additional time when arriving and entering American Family Field on major promotional giveaway dates.

“We are listening to our fans and want to provide the smoothest experience entering American Family Field,” said Brewers President – Business Operations, Rick Schlesinger. “We often see longer wait times on Saturdays for fans looking to enter the ballpark, especially when we have our biggest promotional giveaways. We have ten of these giveaways scheduled for Saturdays this year. The extra 30 minutes will make accessing American Family Field easier for everyone.”

The new gate time starts Saturday, April 22, where the first 30,000 ticketed fans will receive a Yelich “Yeli” Tumbler. On Saturday, April 29, the first 30,000 fans will receive a long-sleeve hooded shirt featuring Barrelman, courtesy of Uscellular®.

Parking lots times will remain the same, opening three hours prior to first pitch. For all other home games, Sunday through Friday, gates times will remain the same, opening 90 minutes prior to the scheduled start of a game. See brewers.com/Parking for more info.
