Throughout Season 21, the cheftestants bring their A-game and inspiration to Wisconsin as they go head-to-head in a slew of challenges honoring the state’s traditions, local staples and fresh produce. Filmed throughout Milwaukee, Madison and Door County, the series made its first return to the Midwest since Top Chef: Chicago, dating back to 2008.
Throughout the season, 15 aspiring chefs are challenged with creating culinary dishes with unique twists of incorporating hops, Door County cherries, thirteen different cheeses and other Wisconsin staples to showcase the blend of traditional comfort food and innovative cuisine. Fans will get a glimpse into the regional flavors and cooking techniques of the Midwest.
In Wednesday’s episode, the cheftestants visit the home of the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field. Before embarking on the week’s elimination challenge, the chefs watch the Famous Racing Sausages compete in their signature race before they are tasked with cooking and elevating five different types of sausage to make mouthwatering dishes for the judges.
Brewers fans will recognize many faces joining the guest judge panel including six-time All Star and Brewers all-time franchise home run leader Ryan Braun, in addition to numerous other special guests, adding an extra layer of excitement and expertise to the week’s competition.
