Following Tigernite‘s impressive 2015, during which the group released a locally lauded debut record, opened for The Offspring, and hit the summer festival circuit hard, Milwaukee’s favorite glam rock band has started 2016 strong. Somewhere between captivating Turner Hall with unforgettable renditions of GGOOLLDD songs during our Local Coverage benefit and playing their own songs at a flurry of shows throughout town, Tigernite found time to lay down material for a new record.

Prior to the May 31 digital release (June 4 on cassette and CD) of the band’s new EP, Blood Moon, Tigernite unleashed a new single. “Remember” combines blistering guitar licks with the rousing and arena-ready vocal chops of Molly Roberts. Matching its self-titled debut will be a tall order for Tigernite, but the catchy single is a step in the right direction. Hear Tigernite play “Remember” and more Friday night at Cactus Club as part of Arte Para Todos, and at Club Garibaldi on Saturday when they play in support of Paul Collins Beat.
