Even though summer concluded a few weeks ago, festival season in Milwaukee never truly ends. In addition to currently being in the thick of fall festival season, many local summer festivals have been announcing their dates and even revealing some of their headliners for 2026.

The latest such fest to get an early start on 2026 planning is Milwaukee Irish Fest, which will return to Henry Maier Festival Park August 13-16. Today, organizers have given Milwaukee Record the opportunity to help Milwaukee Irish Fest make its first headliner announcement for next year’s lineup. That headliner is none other than Gaelic Storm, the veteran Celtic rock band that will be celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026.

A frequent fixture on Milwaukee Irish Fest lineups for much of the band’s existence, Gaelic Storm will play at the Miller Lite Oasis a total of three times August 14-16. Those three Gaelic Storm sets will be among the more than 100 musical and cultural performances that will take place on 18 stages during the four-day festival. Get tickets to the 2026 edition now and sign up for Milwaukee Irish Fest’s newsletter to get updates on the festival’s lineup. In the meantime, save the date for Irish Fest and get ready to see Gaelic Storm in Milwaukee next August.
