Since 2013, musician Andrew Shelp has given the city a loud, fuzzed-out, and reverb-drenched annual gift in the form of Milwaukee Psych Fest. After postponing last year’s installment due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the psych-celebrating blowout will return for an eighth year this fall.

This morning, Shelp released a preview of the lineup and revealed both the dates and location of this year’s Psych Fest. As always, this year’s event—November 19-20 at The Cooperage—offers a dizzying array of talent from Milwaukee, the country, and planet Earth. Performers were listed in this preview video Milwaukee Psych Fest posted today.

In case you didn’t hit pause in time to catch all 22 performers the video mentioned, here’s a list of everyone who is confirmed to play: Triptides, No Joy, Rosali, Swimming Bell, All Seeing Eyes, Kendraplex, David Nance Group, Powers/Rolin Duo, Spiral Joy Band, The Veldt, Nolan Potter’s Nightmare Band, Apollo Vermouth, Flavor Crystals, Sisters of Your Sunshine Vapor, Muun Bato, Silver Synthetic, Omni, Death Hags, Dire Wolves, Spiral Galaxy, Vocokesh, and Moss Folk. There will also be visuals courtesy of Mad Alchemy.

We’ll have info on tickets, daily lineups, and more as the festival approaches. In the meantime, save the date because Milwaukee Psych Fest is coming back!
