Remember way back on August 27 when we told you that evening’s scheduled season finale of the ever-popular Chill On The Hill summer concert series was canceled due to excessive heat warnings? Remember how a bunch of you people—with no understanding of nor appreciation for everything that goes into hosting an event of Chill’s size and scope—were all like, “iT’s NoT eVeN tHaT hOt!!! JuSt Do 1 mOrE LaTeRRRRR!!!” in the comment section because the 12 free concerts the Bay View Neighborhood Association graciously hosted at Humboldt Park to that point simply wasn’t enough for you? Well, you’re in luck because Chill On The Hill’s season lives on!

Well, to be clear, it will live on for exactly one more installment. Yes, on Tuesday, September 10, the Humboldt Park Bandshell will host “A little bit of Chill On The Hill.” According to the Facebook event listing, this will be “a very pared-down event” that’s being called “a mini Chill.” Bright Eyed And Blind will be the only act performing, with music running 7-8 p.m. There “might” be some food trucks in the park, but attendees are being warned “facilities will be at a minimum” and the street running through the park will not be closed to traffic.

As always, feel free to bring your own food and beverages and “if it makes a cloud, it’s not allowed.” You asked for it…or whined about it ending early. So here you go!
