UPDATE (4/25/2026): Wioletta’s Polish Kitchen will have its final night of service Saturday, April 25. No reservations will be accepted.

Following just over six months in a former Applebee’s in Oak Creek, Wioletta’s Polish Kitchen (7135 S. 13th St.) will be closing. The restaurant, an offshoot of Wioletta’s Polish Market in Milwaukee, opened in October 2025 with aspirations of offering some of the authentic Polish flavors the region had been missing since Polonez closed in 2022. Tuesday night, owners announced Wioleta’s Polish Kitchen’s final day of service will be Sunday, April 26. Here’s a screenshot of the Facebook post.

As noted in announcement, the Oak Creek property is to become a Golden Honey Pancakes & Cafe location, which has an expected opening date of Monday, May 4.
Though the impending loss of the Polish Kitchen is a significant hit for many in the area, Wioletta’s Polish Market (3955 S. Howell Ave.) will thankfully remain open. Any Polish Kitchen gift cards not used by April 26 will be accepted at the affiliated Wioletta’s Polish Market through October 31.

So long, Wioletta’s Polish Kitchen. Though its time was shockingly brief, we truly enjoyed the meals we had there during its short tenure, including this feast (pictured above) that we ordered after seeing Marty Supreme at nearby Marcus South Shore Cinema in January.

And we’ll always appreciate the effort they put into trying to conceal the fact restaurant used to be an Applebee’s at one point. If you want to eat good in the neighborhood (a.k.a. the corner of 13th St. and Rawson Ave. in Oak Creek) one more time, get to Wioletta’s Polish Kitchen by April 26.
