Wings, hot sauce, trivia, Bert Lauderdale come together January 22 at Lakefront Brewery

If you’re a fan of wings and hot sauce, you’ve undoubtedly enjoyed Lakefront Brewery’s annual celebrations of National Hot Sauce Day. Put them all together and you get a doozy of an upcoming event: Hot Wings & Trivia at Lakefront Brewery on Wednesday, January 22 (National Hot Sauce Day!), co-hosted by Bert Lauderdale. YES.

Let’s talk about the wings. Executive Chef Kristin Hueneke will curate a wing and beer pairing flight featuring five wing flavors and five Lakefront beers. It’ll run you $32 ($18 without the beer) and will include…

• Parmesan & Garlic (w/ Chilly Rabbit IPA)

• Hot Honey BBQ (w/ Eastside Dark)

• Buffalo (w/ Riverwest Stein Amber Lager)

• Verde (w/ Hazy Rabbit IPA)

• Thai Mango (w/ Dive Beer Milwaukee Lager)

As for the trivia, it’ll begin at 6:30 p.m. Reservations are encouraged; it’ll be first come, first served without reservations. And yes, Bert Lauderdale will be the co-host. And yes, they “may even throw some hot-wing trivia into the mix for those aficionados out there.”
