[droppcap]M[/dropcap]ilwaukee is currently in the midst of a culinary renaissance. Part of the ongoing evolution and development of local dining is the improved access and quality of vegan food in and around the city. This weekend, a new local festival will serve to celebrate that exciting abundance of meatless and dairy-free cuisine in the region.

On Sunday, June 2, the inaugural VeganMania Milwaukee will set up at Greenfield Park (in Areas 3A and 3B—the closest entrance is off S. 124th St. at W. Lincoln Ave.) in nearby West Allis from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Over that five-hour span, the event will feature close to 30 vegan food and beverage vendors. Beyond the food and beverage options on hand, there will be dozens of retailers, exhibitors, and animal-focused nonprofits. 4BHI will also be playing tunes all day long.

VeganMania Milwaukee is free to attend and all are welcome. You can check out the full lineup of food/drink vendors, exhibitors, and nonprofits below. You can find more info on the event HERE.
