Spring has truly sprung. The weather is showing signs of being okay, Nite Owl is back in business, and the Marcus Center snow pile is doomed. Oh, and the South Shore Terrace beer garden (2900 South Shore Dr.) is evidently set to open on Thursday, April 16. YES. According to a South Shore Terrace social media post this morning, the beer garden will finally open for the 2026 season at 4 p.m. this Thursday. Better yet, there will free beer and root beer offered for the first 20 mi9nutes that afternoon.
South Shore Terrace boasts 20 tap beer lines and an array of N/A options. Beyond the beverages, there’s a menu food that includes an array of burgers and sandwiches, fresh salads, a rotating flatbread pizza offering, hand-battered cheese curds, sidewinder fries, a Friday fish fry, and a kids’ menu. Lakefront seating and a spectacular view of Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee skyline are also included.
Hours for South Shore Terrace are Wednesday through Friday, 4-8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, noon – 8 p.m.; and holidays, noon – 8 p.m. The park is available for private events on Mondays and Tuesdays. Don’t forget your County Parks glass!
