A couple of weeks ago we informed you that the South Shore Terrace beer garden (2900 South Shore Dr.) had pushed its opening date from April 2 to April 9. You know, on account of the not-so-springlike weather. Well, April 9 is today, and…well, the weather still stinks, so South Shore is pushing its opening date again, to Friday, April 11 at 4 p.m. Fingers crossed!
South Shore Terrace boasts 20 tap beer lines, and six of those will be Lakefront Brewery options this year. Beyond the beverages, there’s a menu food that includes an array of burgers and sandwiches, fresh salads, a rotating flatbread pizza offering, hand-battered cheese curds, sidewinder fries, a Friday fish fry, and a kids’ menu. Lakefront seating and a spectacular view of Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee skyline are also included.
Regular hours for South Shore Terrace are Wednesday through Friday, 4-9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.; and holidays, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. The park is available for private events on Mondays and Tuesdays.
