The 2019 Milwaukee Film Festival ran October 17-31. It was great. Is it too early to be thinking about the 2020 Milwaukee Film Festival? No, no it is not. To prove it, Milwaukee Film just announced the dates for its 12th annual fest: October 15-29, 2020.

“After a record-breaking year for our Festival, we’re already so excited to get started on 2020,” says Jonathan Jackson, CEO and artistic director for Milwaukee Film, in a press release. “Our Festival is the largest arts event in our community, and even though we’re still recovering from this year’s amazing Festival, you better believe we’re already planning for next year.”

And yes, today’s announcement coincides with Giving Tuesday; and yes, Milwaukee Film has a Giving Tuesday deal. On December 3 (that’s today), folks can get $15 off any regularly priced Festival Fan, Film Lover, or Movie Star level membership. That includes gift memberships and new or renewing memberships. “Our membership base is extremely loyal, and having this core of supporters makes a tremendous difference in the success of our programs,” Jackson says. “Membership is a great gift to our organization, and it can make a great gift for the holidays—so it’s ideal for Giving Tuesday.”
