Mexican Fiesta 50th Anniversary Celebration

Milwaukee, Wisconsin, August 8th, 2023 – The Wisconsin Hispanic Scholarship Foundation is proud to present the 50th edition of Mexican Fiesta, a premier cultural extravaganza on August 25th, 26th, and 27th at the Summerfest grounds. This momentous milestone will be commemorated with a dazzling three-day event filled with the richness of Mexican heritage, while also supporting a noble cause – providing scholarship awards for Hispanic young students pursuing their dreams in higher education.

For half a century, Mexican Fiesta has been an emblem of cultural pride, bridging communities together and showcasing the brilliance of Mexico’s traditions, colors, tastes, and music. This year, the festival promises to be bigger and more spectacular than ever before, making it a must-attend event for individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

The festival takes place from August 25th – 27th, where attendees will be immersed in an authentic and unforgettable experience of Mexico and other Latin American diverse heritage. Throughout the weekend, visitors can expect:

Sensational Entertainment Lineup: Prepare to be enthralled by a star-studded array of national and international acts, showcasing the mesmerizing sounds and rhythms of Mexico’s rich cultural heritage.

Enjoy all these activities at an affordable price by purchasing your tickets ahead of time at the Mexican Fiesta office and El Rey Grocery Stores for only $19 per adult (9yrs old +), children 8 years old and under get in for FREE with an adult. The WHSF provides a cultural and educational environment to enhance and improve the academic success of the Hispanic Community while promoting a better understanding of the arts, history, literature, and the perpetuation of Hispanic culture. To date, WHSF has provided over $1,890,000.00 in college scholarships and community nonprofits.
