As part of Gov. Evers’ recently extended “Safer At Home” order (in effect until May 26), businesses like golf courses and libraries can offer limited services beginning April 24. We’ve already told you about the eight Milwaukee County golf courses that are reopening this Friday, and now we have info on the Milwaukee County libraries that will soon begin curbside pickup services.

Here’s the list so far (current as of 4/22/20), courtesy of the Milwaukee County Federated Library System:

Brown Deer Public Library
Curbside hold pickup starts Friday 4/24/2020.

Cudahy Family Library
Curbside hold pickup starts Friday 4/24/2020. THE BOOK DROP IS OPEN.

Franklin Public Library
Curbside assistance begins Monday 4/27/20. The service is offered by appointment only M-F 10AM-5PM. Patrons may phone (414) 425-8214 to schedule a pickup during those hours. THE BOOK DROP IS OPEN. They will offer telephone and virtual services.

Greendale Public Library
THE BOOK DROP IS OPEN.

Greenfield Public Library
Curbside assistance begins 4/27/20. The service is offered by appointment only M-F 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (at least initially). Patrons may phone (414) 509-2134 to make a reservation during those hours. THE BOOK DROP IS OPEN.

Hales Corners Library
Curbside hold pickup begins 4/24/20. THE BOOK DROP IS OPEN.

North Shore Library
Curbside pickup for holds begins Monday 4/27/2020.

Shorewood Public Library
Curbside pickup will begin Monday 4/27/20. THE BOOK DROP IS OPEN.

South Milwaukee Public Library
Curbside pickup for holds begins Monday 4/27/2020. THE BOOK DROP IS OPEN. The library will offer phone services from 9 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday.

St. Francis Public Library
Curbside service begins Friday, April 24th for existing holds and Monday, April 27th for new requests. THE BOOK DROP IS OPEN.

Wauwatosa Public Library
THE BOOK DROP IS OPEN. Phone reference is available Monday-Friday 9 AM- 5 PM, and virtual options are available on our website 24/7 during this period.

West Allis Public Library
The library is offering phone reference, and virtual options.
