Even though it’s still only March and we’re just days into spring, Milwaukee’s festival season is right around the corner. The official beginning of that long and joyous run of celebrations comes each June, when PrideFest brings a weekend of fun to the Henry Maier Festival Park. After 2017’s event broke attendance records with more than 37,000 visitors coming through the gates, PrideFest has the tall task of matching the success of its 30th year when the festival returns.

PrideFest announced its 2018 headliners on Friday morning. In addition to kicking off the festival a day early for the first time ever, the organizers have found some notable headliners for each night’s festivities. PrideFest will start Thursday, June 7 with a Dance Pavilion performance by Cash Cash. Friday will bring Daya to the grounds. Jussie Smollett will head up Saturday’s Miller Lite Mainstage, with The B-52’s set to bring Pridefest home in grand fashion on Sunday, June 10.

Those headliners join the likes of recently announced acts like pop star JoJo and actor/comedian Fortune Feimster. More performers will be announced in the coming weeks, including the lineup for our locally-focused Milwaukee Record Stage that’s presented by Kesslers Diamonds. Weekend passes are still available for $30. We’ll see you there, Milwaukee!
