Summer 2026 is still a thing, but Milwaukee is already announcing festival information for summer 2027. And two of those 2027 fests will end a bit earlier than previous years.
On Monday, the Brady Street Business Improvement District (BID) announced the 2027 dates and hours for four of its big events: Splash Of Pride, Pride On Brady, Brady Street Festival, and the Brady Street Pet Parade. Pride On Brady and Brady Street Festival come complete with slightly earlier end times: 8 p.m. for Pride On Brady, and 9 p.m. for Brady Street Festival.
In 2026, Pride On Brady ended at 10 p.m. Brady Street Festival ended at 11 p.m. Both events began at noon in 2026, and will continue to begin at noon in 2027.
Why the earlier end times that make the fests two hours shorter? According to a press release, “the updated hours are part of the BID’s ongoing efforts to create a safe, enjoyable and welcoming experience for everyone who gathers on Brady Street.”
“Brady Street’s events are an important part of what makes our district such a special place to gather,” says Anna Antoine, Executive Director of the Brady Street BID, in the press release. “We’re excited to announce our 2027 dates early so our businesses, community partners and visitors can start planning. Adjusting the hours of our larger events is one of the proactive steps we’re taking to support a positive experience for our entire community while continuing to celebrate everything that makes Brady Street unique.”
Monday’s announcement follows a months-long “Summer Safety Pilot Program” that boosted police presence in the Brady Street area and introduced new parking restrictions, among other initiatives.
