Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition—a local organization that’s dedicated to creating a no kill community by humanely reducing the cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR)—to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: fun-lovin’ siblings named Axle and Gauge.
Meet Axle and Gauge! These bonded kitten siblings are ready to find a home together. Their names were inspired by the auto shop they were found at as tiny kittens. These goofy, playful boys are a hoot and will definitely keep you laughing with their antics! They’ll follow you around the house, lounge on the backs of your chairs, and maybe even share their chill attitude about life. They enjoy wand toys and laying on your lap for snuggles.
Axle warms up to people a little faster than Gauge and is the first one to greet you when you come home. Gauge is the very snuggliest and loves head-butting for attention.
