Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition—a local organization that’s dedicated to creating a no kill community by humanely reducing the cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR)—to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: bonded sisters Alexandria and Bastet.
Meet Alexandria and Bastet. These bonded sisters are the best of friends, proving that opposites truly do attract! Bastet, the most outgoing of the litter, balances perfectly with the more reserved Alexandria, creating a harmonious and complementary duo.
Bastet is a social butterfly who loves to explore and meet new friends. She thrives on interaction and is always the first to greet visitors with her curious and playful nature. Alexandria, on the other hand, is a gentle soul who takes her time to warm up to new situations and people. Her cautious demeanor makes her a thoughtful and observant companion, always ready to support Bastet in their adventures together.
These two have been raised in a bustling foster home, surrounded by adult cats and a large dog, making them well-adjusted to various animals. Their social skills extend to humans of all ages, as they have been around children frequently and enjoy the different types of attention they receive.
Alexandria and Bastet would thrive in any loving home. They are adaptable and have demonstrated that they can fit in well regardless of the environment. Their bond is strong, and they provide each other with comfort and confidence, making them a perfect pair for someone looking to adopt two wonderful companions.
